Over 35,000 seniors aged 55 and older reside on the North Shore, accounting for 22% of our community’s population. Many of these individuals have strong emotional connections to the area, having made it their home for their entire lives.

As homelessness among seniors continues to rise, Hollyburn Community Services Society—working in partnership with all levels of government, foundations, and generous donors—plays a crucial role in supporting seniors who are homeless or at risk of losing their homes. Through essential programs and services, Hollyburn Community Services Society offers a compassionate safety net, ensuring every senior has access to the resources they need to feel safe, supported, and valued within our community.
